Antic Apparel | Leave a commentThe Drum magazine Top Freelancer
March 30, 2012
While I was on holiday in Paris I was surprised to receive an email from The Drum saying I was being entered into their top 50 freelancers in the UK feature.
Today was the day that their magazine came through my door. I’m so happy to be recognised for the work I do and this is the first time anything like this has happended to me. Their are loads of great freelancers in the list and I’m stoked to be apart of it.
Misc | Leave a commentGoals for 2012
January 30, 2012I didn’t really want to come up with goals etc before the new year because I wasn’t sure what this year would bring.
Now we’ve had nearly a month of it, i’ve been thinking about what I want to achieve by the end of the year. I did have thoughts about what I wanted 2012 to hold in 2011, but you never know how things are going to pan out and I have to say it is different to how I thought.
First thing I wanted to achieve was getting my new site live. I have achieved this but it’s no way finished, but it’s at a point that can be built on over the coming months.
The second thing is to get www.findthatdesignjob.co.uk and www.lovebusinesscards.com more coverage and get people posting more frequently. I’m very happy that both sites are going to be media sponsors for the Annual Design Awards.
The third thing I want to achieve this year is to attend a design related conference. I think Web Dev Conf could be the one. It’s affordable, on my door-step and looks like it’s going to have some great speakers.
I think getting new clients is a biggy for me this year and also building a stronger relationshop with my exsisiting ones. I want to build more sites, and design more graphic work this year but to a standard that gets some recognition.
On a personal note, having a holiday. I’m happy that me and wifey have booked to take the young ‘uns to Disneyland Paris and also booked a week in Turkey. I’m really looking forward to these breaks and spending some quality time with the family.

January 25, 2012
I’m very pleased to annouce that the two projects I started and run (www.findthatdesignjob.co.uk and www.lovebusinesscards.com) will be media sponsors for the Annual Design Awards 2012. This is great news for my two sites because it will give them the coverage we need and also give us the opportunity to advertise the Annual Design Awards on both sites and on this blog.
I will also be ‘bigging’ up the awards on Twitter and wherever else I can. As soon as the Annual Design Awards 2012 site goes live il be sure to let you know.

Find That Design Job, Love Business Cards | Leave a commentWELCOME !!! to my new site
January 17, 2012Hi all and welcome to the NEW Tom Stutt Design site. I’ve been messing about with the branding of the site for some time now and thought enough is enough. I sat and thought about what I wanted my logo, stationery and website to look like. I picked my colours and over a period of about 2 weeks I came up with this. I’m very happy with it and hope you like it too.
The old site was static and was a little bit of a pain to update so I decided now was the time to squirt it into a CMS. I chose WordPress because I’ve used it for Love Business Cards and Find That Design Job so this was a no brainer.
I hope you like the site. Thanks
